Highchairs should only be used when your baby is able to sit without help or support (usually between six and twelve months of age).
Your baby should always be securely harnessed into the chair, should never be left unattended, and hot food and hot drinks should be kept well out of reach.
Regularly check the highchair for wear and tear that could affect its safety and check that any nuts, bolts or screws remain secure.
Always use on a stable surface i.e. non-slip floor.
